As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support male and female NDIS participants with complex mental and other health issues.
  • Mentor participants to increase their independence and engage in community-based activities.
  • Model and encourage appropriate social behaviours as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Individual Support (Disability) Certificate III or higher.
  • Experience working with people with disability who have support needs, particularly with mental health issues.
  • Previous skills and qualifications in medication assistance and/or administration.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Patient, flexible, and understanding nature.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Supportive and caring attitude.
  • Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives.
  • Able to accept responsibility and cope with physical demands of the job.
