Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative community that has a focus on the education of boys. The position offers an initial 5 year tenure in a leadership role with an ongoing teaching component.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the College Leadership Team, supporting all aspects of the Principal's role. This includes providing trusted advice, support and leadership on a range of strategic and operational matters.

The leader will oversee a dedicated team and their respective portfolios and maintain strategic integrity with respect to College wide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop inclusive and supportive working environments
  • Foster positive relationships and communicate with key stakeholders in a timely and respectful manner
  • Display a willingness to uphold the vision and values of the College
  • Understand Catholic mission and identity that enables leadership that is authentic to the vision and values of the College
  • Provide staff management and employment processes expertise
  • Work collaboratively with the College Community to develop community amongst staff, students and parents
  • Exhibit excellence in school leadership roles reflecting integration of mission, pedagogy and pastoral care, particularly as it applies to the education of boys

Requirements:

Successful experience in a senior leadership position in a school setting A proven ability to work in a collaborative environment as the leader of a team Current VIT Registration
