We're seeking a motivated and fit individual to join our warehouse team as a Customer Service Operator. Your primary duties will include working as an offsider for truck drivers, manually unloading plasterboard at various sites. When not delivering, your responsibilities will also involve warehousing tasks such as order picking, packing, loading/unloading trucks, working in teams, operating forklifts and MHE, and general warehouse duties.

This role reports to the Trade Store Manager and offers a great opportunity to be part of our high-performing team in Geebung, QLD.

Key qualifications include teamwork skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. Ability to work accurately in the warehouse, interact with customers, and pick orders is essential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider.
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Picking and packing orders daily.
  • Preparing and checking orders.
  • Receiving goods and managing paperwork diligently.
  • Loading and unloading customer vehicles.
  • Maintaining operational equipment and reporting faults.
  • Handling customer complaints following company procedures.
  • Assisting with stock takes and inventory management.
  • Performing general warehouse duties and housekeeping.

Must Have Skills and Qualifications
  • A current forklift license.
  • Truck driver license is advantageous but not essential.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for operational tasks.
  • Teamwork, attention to detail, time management, and organization skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify personal and team development opportunities.
  • A safety-conscious attitude and proactive approach.
