Key Responsibilities:
  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning and maintaining the home of our customers to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  • Providing social support and access to lifestyle activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medication, and assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Respite and emotional support to help our customers cope with the challenges of aging.
  • Social support and transport to appointments to ensure our customers can access essential services.
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.

Requirements:
  • You must be a compassionate and empathetic individual who is passionate about assisting our aged community.
  • You must have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential part of the role.
  • You must be able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help when needed.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
