Speech Pathologist

We are seeking highly skilled Speech Pathologists to join our dynamic team in the Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Division at SA Health. As a Speech Pathologist in this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in older adults.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments to identify areas of need and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to empower them to manage communication and swallowing disorders.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification that gives eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia. You should have exceptional communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to continuous learning.
As a Speech Pathologist in this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including inpatient rehabilitation wards, day rehabilitation services, and community-based programs. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through regular training and professional development opportunities.
