Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) products, with particular attention to compliance and site installation compatibility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing the electrical layout of BESS products, creating microgrids, loads, and other test environments, and providing specialized engineering support in power electronics for battery management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing AC voltage equipment and wiring for BESS products
  • Creating and supporting micro grids, loads, and other test environments
  • Providing specialized engineering support in power electronics for battery management
  • Maintaining suitable documentation of work conducted

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in BESS product creation and/or installation
  • Knowledge of LV switchgear, including selection
  • Familiarity with key electrical standards such as AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008, and AS/NZS 4836
