Job Overview

The Senior Application Engineer plays a pivotal role in specialized protection and control application support.

  • Designers will be responsible for creating detailed designs, including material selection, panel drawings, relay configuration files, protection setting reports, Factory Acceptance Tests, site investigations, and commissioning support.
  • Collaborate with key suppliers to resolve customer inquiries related to hardware and software.

Working closely with the sales team, this role involves communicating product benefits and differentiators to customers. This includes assisting the sales team in preparing quotations and tender responses.

Conducting technology workshops for both external and internal customers is a key aspect of this role.

About You

To succeed as a Senior Application Engineer, you must demonstrate:

  • Self-motivation and a passion for technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and collaborate with other professionals.

You will also have:

  • A recognized Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in power system consulting, vendor or utilities.
  • Detailed protection and control design experience.
  • Genuine interest in managing and designing protection and control systems.
  • Clear understanding of power system requirements and challenges.

Key technologies include Protection and Control, Substation Monitoring, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, time, and budget requirements.
