Key to their success is the ability to manage multiple stakeholders including external auditors and regulatory bodies.

They drive process improvements and mentor junior finance staff to enhance the overall efficiency of the finance team.

Financial Reporting

Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/AASB/GAAP as applicable.

Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and regulatory filings.

Management Accounting

Prepare and review monthly management reports providing valuable insights into business performance.

Oversee general ledger reconciliations, accruals and journal entries ensuring accurate financial records.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist in preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.

Provide variance analysis and commentary for management reporting enabling informed decision-making.

Process Improvement

Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation opportunities.

Support accounting system upgrades or process enhancements driving continuous improvement.

Leadership & Team Development

Mentor and supervise junior accountants or finance officers promoting professional growth and development within the finance team.
