Fremantle Ports is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Kwinana Port program team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organisation achieves its strategic objectives to transition operations to Westport and the redevelopment of the Inner Harbour.
The role will involve managing the successful delivery of Fremantle Ports' study and project delivery program, providing strategic advice to the group's Executive and Senior Leadership Team on delivery of the Westport program of works, and establishing, developing and leading the Kwinana Port program team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the program team capability, including best practice project and contract management governance, systems, tools, processes, procedures, standards, controls, performance metrics and management reports.
- Formulate commercially astute procurement and contracting strategies to maximise long term value for money for Fremantle Ports.
- Act as the principal's superintendent for contracts.
- Ensure any audit recommendations relating to Kwinana Port program, and governance are reviewed and addressed.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering and/or project management.
- Proven high level of experience in infrastructure project management, with broad exposure to all key elements of the project management life cycle.
- Proven experience in contract management, including superintendency experience in AS4000.
- Highly effective change management, influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources will often not be in the direct control.
- Well-developed financial management and budgeting skills.
- A demonstrated commitment and leadership in the prioritisation of safety in the workplace.
