Data Lakehouse Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Lakehouse Architect to lead our journey towards a unified lakehouse on Databricks.

As a senior data specialist, you will own the transformation from legacy silos to a modern data platform, steering presales conversations and facilitating discovery workshops. You will shape target architecture and guide a high-performing engineering team that turns raw data into trusted insights.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading migration and analytics engagements on Databricks from scoping through production handover.
  • Designing, building, and optimizing batch or streaming pipelines into Delta Lake, governed by Unity Catalog.
  • Modeling data using medallion principles and championing standards that prioritize quality, lineage, and security.
  • Embedding automated testing, monitoring, and CI/CD for rapid and recoverable releases.
  • Delivering curated Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reusable APIs that enable near real-time insight and bi-directional syncs.
  • Mentoring engineers, resolving blockers, and presenting progress, risks, and ROI to executives and clients.

To succeed in this role, you should have a track record of architecting and delivering Databricks lakehouse solutions at scale. Advanced SQL skills plus Python or Scala experience, along with deep knowledge of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and DevOps automation, are essential.
