Job Title: Personal Care Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our team at mecwa care. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and medication management.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Disability, or completion of first year Bachelor of Nursing studies and First Aid Level 2.
  • Current driver's license and access to a registered vehicle.
  • A Smartphone.
  • Ability to relate to older people and flexibility around the changing needs of clients.

Desirable but Not Essential:

  • Current WWC Card and an interest in working with children with complex needs.
  • Current Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check or willingness to apply for an NDIS check.
