About the Role:
  • Provide parts advising services and support to Perth Branch Activities.
  • Increase and maximise all parts sales through proactive communication with our client base.
  • Assist in providing a regular flow of inventory, ensuring adequate and appropriate supply, and meeting guidelines.
  • Make phone contact with the client base to increase business and promote new products and improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to ensure ongoing business and the use of genuine parts.
  • Stay informed of the latest product developments and updates, using this knowledge to maximum advantage.
  • Model safe working behaviour in line with Penske's values of Ownership, Passion, Teamwork, Integrity, and Care.
About You:
  • You have completed or are in the process of completing a certificate in Parts Interpreting (desirable), or equivalent industry training/experience.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a parts interpreting or related industry role.
  • You have a sound knowledge of mtu, Detroit Diesel, Allison, and other associated products sold through our parts department.
  • You have a basic knowledge of the principles of operation of internal combustion engines (essential) and automatic transmissions (preferred).
  • You enjoy and have a passion for providing service advice and solutions, delivering excellent customer service.
  • You have strong communication skills, written and verbal, with a knack for building personal connections.
  • You have thorough attention to detail with the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
