Truck and trailer rentals specialise in the transportation sector. Our core business provides the hiring, sale, and maintenance of a broad product range including skels, flat-tops, side loaders, dollies, curtain sides, tippers, drop decks, and low loaders.

This is a full-time role for a general manager located in Adelaide. The ideal candidate will have values-driven leadership skills, B2B sales experience, technical acumen, and an understanding of transport equipment rentals.

The successful candidate will bring proven sales success in truck and trailer rental sectors, strong leadership and operational management capability, expertise in building strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth, exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to business development and client solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and potential revenue streams for prime mover and trailer rental solutions
  • Building and maintaining strong client, supplier, and industry stakeholder relationships
  • Positioning Truck and Trailer Rentals as a trusted partner for transportation solutions
  • Managing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and service excellence
  • Maximising utilisation of hire equipment in line with business expectations
  • Monitoring costs related to operational functions of the business
  • Driving accountability within the business
