Job OverviewResponsibilities:
  • Providing strategic direction and operational leadership, overseeing the organisation's growth and financial sustainability.
  • Collaborating closely with the CEO, Board, and management team to drive operational excellence and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Fostering a business-oriented culture that encourages collaboration and recognises achievements.
  • Representing and advocating for The Sunrise Project initiatives with the community, corporate partners, and government stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading operations for a not-for-profit or social enterprise during a period of growth.
  • An experienced executive leader with people management and stakeholder engagement skills, ideally in fundraising or business development.
  • Demonstrated experience in presentation and effective communication, including cultural sensitivities.
  • Strong financial literacy with demonstrated experience in preparing budgets, managing cash flow, and identifying emerging issues.
