We achieve this through our Vertical Villages and accommodation options, which provide independent living opportunities and 24-hour support models.

The Position
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health/Behaviour Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality, responsive, and person-centered support to participants. Key responsibilities include supporting participants with daily living skills and community activities, maintaining accurate records of participants' needs and care plans, and facilitating community inclusion and participation.

Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Qualification in disability, mental health, or a related field (desirable).
  2. 2 years' experience working with people with complex mental illness providing behavioral support.
  3. Demonstrated experience supporting participants with high needs.
  4. A clear understanding of professional boundaries and restrictive practices.
  5. Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision, and under pressure.
  6. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to write clear case notes.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate as part of a diverse team and work autonomously.

Certification Requirements
Please note that applicants must hold an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, Current First Aid Certificate, and NSW Drivers license and vehicle.
