Senior Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Strategic Expenses Team, you will play a critical part in delivering actionable insights and ensuring alignment with the business's expense agenda, productivity targets, and transformation goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in financial analysis, expense management, and project reporting within complex business environments. Experience in the life insurance industry is preferred, but wealth management experience is also considered.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic plans for expense management and analysis.
  • Deliver insightful analysis and reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT to assess transformation benefits.
  • Support finance transformation to improve expense reporting processes, cost allocations, spend control analysis, and implement cost-to-serve metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A degree-qualified accountant or finance professional with extensive experience in planning and analysis roles. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical skills, combined with commercial acumen.
  • Proficient in accounting software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant packages such as SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain trust-based relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive problem solver, able to identify and address challenges effectively.
