Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the safe and efficient management of our warehouse operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage warehouse operations in accordance with health and safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Develop and implement proactive planning strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage inventory levels to maximise storage capacity and utilisation.
  • Maintain high service levels and respond promptly to customer queries to minimise downtime.
  • Control labour costs through effective workforce planning and productivity initiatives.
  • Support budgeting processes and contribute to effective cost control.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the business and drive financial performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse and distribution management is essential.
  • Exceptional knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations and standards.
  • SAP, WMS and TMS knowledge is highly regarded (Ramco experience preferred).
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • High level of organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Continuous improvement mindset to proactively problem solve with a solution-focused approach.
