Career Opportunity in Timber and Steel Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to work with us on high-quality construction projects. The role requires expertise in reading and interpreting construction drawings, measuring and cutting materials, and constructing formwork.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble timber and steel components.
  • Construct and dismantle formwork, falsework, and temporary structures.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of timber structures and components.
  • Site preparation and cleaning.
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment.
  • Erecting temporary fencing, signage, and safety barriers.
  • Providing general support to the construction team.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Carpentry is required, or relevant experience can be considered as an alternative qualification.
  • A minimum of 1 year's full-time experience in the industry, or 3 years' experience to substitute the formal qualification.
