We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Uniting Aged Care. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
- Provide clinical services, including wound management, medication management, and palliative care, to residents in our aged care home.
- Liaise with medical and allied health professionals, as well as residents' family members, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Assist the clinical management team with ACFI documentation and assessments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Supervise and support our Personal Care Workers, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
- Previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector.
- Flexibility, adaptability, empathy, and a resourceful approach to care delivery.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Commitment to contemporary aged care nursing practice, with a focus on resident-centered care and person-centered care.
- A nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
