Uniting is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide high-quality clinical care to our residents, empowering them to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and evaluate individualized resident care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Provide clinical services such as wound management, medication management, and palliative care to residents.
- Liaise with medical and allied health professionals, as well as residents' family members, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assist the clinical management team with ACFI documentation and assessments.
- Supervise and support our Personal Care Workers to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care with nursing experience in the wider health sector.
- Flexibility, adaptability, empathy, resourcefulness, and excellent time management skills.
- Commitment to contemporary aged care nursing practice.
- A nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
