We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Expert to lead the design and rollout of our new cloud infrastructure on AWS.
About the RoleThis is a key opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong AWS experience to take on a leadership role and shape the future of our cloud strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build a secure, scalable, and high-availability AWS infrastructure to support our SaaS platform.
- Lead the end-to-end migration from our current third-party hosting provider to AWS.
- Develop processes, tooling, and automation for migrating customer environments and data into our new AWS infrastructure.
- Apply hands-on expertise in AWS, Terraform, and Datadog to provision, monitor, and manage cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development team to containerize and optimise PHP/MySQL applications for AWS deployment.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and automated deployments.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high performance and availability.
- Define security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance procedures across our AWS environment.
- Support post-migration operations and continuous infrastructure improvement.
- Implement robust database backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Coordinate with current hosting providers and third-party vendors to ensure a smooth and secure transition to AWS.
