We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at EDT Global Pty Ltd.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a predominantly Microsoft environment, supporting a range of solutions and services for clients across Australia. As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network configurations, directing system installation, and defining system standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent expertise in commercial IT technologies, including cloud-based services, networking, application support coding, and server configuration. Experience with Wintel and virtualisation, enterprise storage solutions, and familiarity with TCP/IP, Layer 3 switching, VLANs, routing, and firewall security is also essential.

You will work closely with our team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Your proactive nature and willingness to help and grow the team will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network configurations
  • Direct system installation and define system standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality services to clients
  • Maintain operating systems, physical systems, and installed systems with system management tools

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows servers 2008-2022, Windows OS, and macOS
  • Excellent Microsoft platform expertise, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, Intune, and hybrid on-premises and cloud/Azure-based solutions
  • Commercial IT technology experience, including cloud-based services, networking, application support coding, and server configuration
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, Layer 3 switching, VLANs, routing, and firewall security

Salary Range: AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
