Residential Care Home Leader

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of Residential Care homes in Melbourne, working closely with clients, support teams, and young people to create a safe environment and promote independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people
  • Collaborate with clients who have disabilities, complex behaviours, and challenging needs
  • Develop and implement high-quality client services and continuous improvement strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills, including consultation and negotiation with stakeholders
  • Able to provide support to people with disabilities in a positive and therapeutic framework
  • Understanding of Residential Youth Work and NDIS principles

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent qualification
  • A current Working With Children Check
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening check (or willingness to obtain)
