Role Overview

Komatsu is seeking a highly motivated HR Business Partner to join their Western Region team. This role will involve providing generalist HR support to key stakeholders, business partnering, and ensuring alignment between HR strategies and overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver day-to-day support and HR advice on operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify development needs and ensure successful employee training.
  • Ensure HR is a strategic partner to the business, involved in decision-making processes for HR/IR matters.
  • Work closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase retention.
  • Maintain full compliance with local law and consult with external/internal advisors as required.
  • Support business leaders using HR tools such as Success Factors (SAP) and LMS.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience working with employment legislation, investigations, and performance case management.
  • Ability to create and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Proven experience in providing policy advice on workplace legislation and understanding of Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and employment-related legislation.
