Mechanical Engineer Technician

Global Skilled Employment Services is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer Technician, you will be responsible for completing hands-on activities to fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain, and/or repair equipment and components in line with industry best practice, company standards, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain, and/or repair equipment and components.
- Lead a small team or groups and train new members.
- Work independently and as a member of a team.
- Develop and implement efficient work processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Associates degree in mechanical engineering technology (MIT), or similar.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge in animal husbandry, animal welfare and legislation, dairy production, and OH&S.
- Knowledge in computer programs/software is an advantage.
