Quality Coordinator Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of quality outcomes on one of Western Sydney's largest and most complex infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, construction teams, subcontractors, and leadership to ensure compliance with quality standards, implement project quality systems, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Role
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of project quality plans, procedures, and systems across the site.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design, specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Assist with internal audits, inspections, and quality surveillance activities.
  • Coordinate the review, approval, and maintenance of quality documentation including ITPs, checklists, NCRs, and quality records.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of quality issues, including corrective and preventive action processes.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of quality reports and data analysis to identify trends and drive improvement.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • 2-3 years' experience in a quality coordination, assurance, or compliance role within construction, infrastructure, or rail projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and project quality processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience working in major infrastructure projects or high-risk environments is desirable.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
