About the Position

We're seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to help us grow our data-driven platform. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in refining our data engine: our state-of-the-art marketing investment models.

Main Responsibilities

  • Automation of data operations, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Scaling data features from individual customers to a global context
  • Development of novel data products
  • R&D POC work using contemporary developments in statistical analysis
  • Excellence in software engineering, including observable, resilient, tested, secure, scalable applications that can be deployed with CICD, IaC, and complete with versioning of every layer
  • Writing documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders; providing a data science lens on insights and outputs from the model, processes, model, and data products

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Python, including the standard library, canonical best practices, contemporary trends, and multiple data libraries
  • SQL proficiency
  • Knowledge in Bayesian Statistics
  • Experience working with multivariate time series data
  • Experience implementing statistical inference algorithms (e.g., particle-filters, variational inference)
  • Solid understanding of fundamental mathematics for statistics and machine learning - probability theory, linear algebra, and calculus
  • Data analysis fundamentals
  • Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in statistics, data analysis, or comparable quantitative degree (e.g., Engineering, Science)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Strong cloud computing background, including IaC - GCP and Pulumi preferred, but okay if strong in any cloud and IaC
  • Experience working with a multitude of data stores - relational, OLAP, object, graph, time-series, key value, etc.
  • Distributed data processing experience
  • Experience with MLOps
