Patent Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Patent Administrator to join our team in Melbourne CBD. As a key member of our patent administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our patent filing and administration processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting and invoicing of patent and design applications
- Updating the IP database to reflect the status of each patent or design
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in relation to applications
- Implementing instructions and processes from clients, agents and Attorneys
- Providing legal assistance to the team on large projects
- Drafting correspondence including letters and emails, and other administrative tasks
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years administration or clerical experience in a corporate setting. Experience within a law firm, and within IP, is desirable but not essential. You will be a diligent and motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality.
