Project or Senior Environmental Consultant

As a seasoned environmental consultant, you will lead and support field investigations, delivering phase 1 and 2 environmental assessments, analysing environmental data, and preparing reports. Your expertise in contaminated land and environmental management will enable you to drive projects forward and contribute to the growth of our regional team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough field investigations, including soil, groundwater, vapour, and surface water assessments
  • Delivering high-quality environmental assessments, incorporating industry best practices
  • Analysing complex environmental data and creating actionable reports
  • Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting proposal development and project costings

Requirements for this role include:

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
  • 3-7 years' experience in consulting, with a focus on contaminated land or environmental management
  • Proficiency in SA EPA legislation, NEPM, and relevant guidelines
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Able to manage fieldwork and coordinate multiple stakeholders
