Role Summary

A key position exists for a Senior Environmental Specialist to contribute to site contamination assessments and remediation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, staff and client engagement, proposal preparation, technical reporting and providing specialist input.

The role involves working with clients and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive environmental advice and drive successful project outcomes. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site contamination assessments and remediation projects;
  • Develop and implement project plans and timelines;
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients and colleagues;
  • Prepare and present proposals and reports;
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field;
  • Proven experience in environmental consulting or a similar field;
  • Strong understanding of contaminated land principles and regulatory compliance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Capacity to travel and work on-site as required.
