Job Title: Environmental Consultant

As an Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of contaminated land management and remediation projects. You will work closely with our Principal staff and EPA accredited Contaminated Land Auditor to provide expert advice and guidance on site assessments and remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field investigations and data gathering, emphasizing data interpretation and analysis.
  • Research literature and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare internal and client correspondence, reports, and proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for clients.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, hydrogeology, geology, or environmental engineering from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an environmental consulting role, with at least 2 years operating in Australia.
  • Working knowledge of relevant SA Environmental legislation and contaminated land guidelines.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of the national technical framework (NEPM).
  • Experience in proposal writing and developing innovative approaches to solving client problems.
