We are seeking accomplished finance leaders to become part of a prominent wholesaler known for delivering top-tier products to its clientele.

Role Overview:
As the Finance Manager, you will be instrumental in guiding the financial operations of the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing daily financial and accounting functions, managing treasury activities, ensuring adherence to regulations, and spearheading budgeting and forecasting initiatives. You will be expected to demonstrate leadership by engaging with financiers, auditors, tax consultants, insurance brokers, and Family Offices, ensuring compliance and optimal service utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Operations: Ensure timely and precise financial reporting, analyze financial performance, manage the general ledger, and validate inventory costing.
  2. Budgeting & Forecasting: Direct the annual budgeting process, oversee monthly forecasts, and provide insightful analysis to senior management.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Supervise ERP GL postings, internal controls, BAS approvals, audits, tax returns, and financier covenant reporting.
  4. Treasury Management: Reconcile bank accounts, update cash flow forecasts, and ensure adherence to FX hedging policies.
  5. Payroll Oversight: Manage payroll and superannuation compliance in accordance with regulatory standards.
  6. Team Leadership: Offer guidance, support, and mentorship to a finance team of three.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  1. CA/CPA qualification with proven experience in a similar Finance Manager capacity.
  2. Experience in timber, building supplies, distribution, B2B commodities, or complex manufacturing is preferred.
  3. Strong financial literacy and expertise.
  4. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, business collaboration, and relationship management.
  5. Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills, coupled with a passion for the industry.
