Payroll Specialist

This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a challenging role in shaping the future of our organization.

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll services, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

The successful candidate will lead the Payroll team, promoting a customer-focused approach and managing remuneration processes, including annual review increases, job evaluation, and above-Award arrangements.

Key responsibilities include coaching and evaluating the Payroll team's performance, developing and providing information and training related to payroll and timekeeping processes, and working closely with Finance and auditors on reporting and data requirements.

To succeed in this role, applicants should have tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, or a related field, along with minimum 5 years' payroll experience, including leading an end-to-end payroll function.

Demonstrated experience working with HRIS and payroll systems, software is also essential, as is certification and experience in job evaluation processes. Advanced Excel skills are highly desirable.
