Role Overview
The Officer plays a vital role in collaboration with fellow staff and volunteers, working at local, state, and national levels to enhance the organization's capacity to innovate, attract, engage, and retain volunteers and members. This position is essential in fostering strong and relevant relationships and communications both internally and externally.
Supported by the Manager/Senior Manager, this role ensures that the voices of volunteers and members are effectively represented and promoted within the organization. Additionally, the Officer is responsible for enhancing the experiences of volunteers and members through innovative initiatives in their respective State/Territory.
Key Qualifications
- Proven administrative skills
- Strong influencing and networking capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interactions
- Experience in supporting volunteers and/or members
- Demonstrated event coordination abilities
- Commitment to Reconciliation
- Ability to work under general direction while adhering to clear objectives and budget constraints
- Experience in collaborating with diverse teams and fostering a cooperative work environment
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
- Analytical skills with the capacity to assess, evaluate, and resolve issues related to volunteer and member policies and practices
Compliance Requirements
A clearance to work with children and a valid driver's license are mandatory for this position.

Additional Information
