Facilitator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced facilitator to join our team in delivering the Career Transition Assistance (CTA) program.

The CTA program assists individuals aged 45 and over to build confidence, develop skills and achieve employment outcomes. As a facilitator, you will work closely with participants to provide training, advice and support to help them become more competitive in the local employment market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training sessions to adults with diverse backgrounds and needs
  • Develop and implement tailored training programs to meet participant requirements
  • Build strong relationships with participants to foster a supportive and motivating environment
  • Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to track participant progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure consistency in delivery
  • Provide guidance and support to participants on job search strategies, resume writing and interview preparation

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in training, careers counseling or employment services
  • Strong knowledge of the local labor market and understanding of what drives success in job searching
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt training methods to suit individual participant needs
  • Sound IT and administration skills
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and flexibility in working with participants to achieve employment outcomes
  • A proven track record in achieving results, KPIs and delivering exceptional customer service
