Project Lead Role in Tertiary Education Sector

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team and take on a lead role in the Tertiary Education sector.

As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to delivery, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Project Planning: Developing project plans and timelines, including project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Team Management: Managing project teams and coordinating team members to ensure timely completion.
  • Client Communication: Communicating with the client to understand needs and objectives, ensuring the project meets expectations.
  • Financial Management: Managing project budgets and financials, tracking costs and managing finances.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and managing project risks, developing risk management plans.
  • Change Management: Managing project change requests, ensuring changes are implemented efficiently.
  • Quality Assurance: Coordinating and managing project testing and quality assurance activities.
  • Project Closeout: Leading project closeout activities, finalizing project deliverables, conducting project evaluations, and documenting results.

To be suitable for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as project management, engineering, or construction management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with experience working on Tertiary/Higher Education projects.
  • Strong leadership skills, including leading and managing teams, delegating tasks, and making decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effectively communicating with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
