Job Title: Rollingstock Maintainer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and examine rollingstock to identify faults or defects.
  • Control the movement of rollingstock and carry out instructions concerning on rollingstock movements and safe working.
  • Perform repairs, component change outs, servicing, and modifications to rollingstock.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical & operational specifications.
  • Provide material requirements for safe and efficient rollingstock operation.
Requirements:
  • Boilermaker or mechanical trade qualification (mandatory).
  • High level of knowledge of functions, defects & fault findings with equipment.
  • Unrestricted 'C' class Driver's Licence.
  • Forklift Licence (preferred).
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound verbal communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to work shift work.
  • Substantial level of skills in repair, maintenance & overhaul of machinery.
