Head of Design

MECCA Brands Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Design to lead our creative team and drive innovative design solutions across all touchpoints and channels.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of designers and creatives, developing and implementing design strategies that align with the company's vision and goals. They will work closely with the Head of Creative to nurture and evolve the brand, driving creativity and innovation across digital, print, and retail channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of designers and creatives to develop and implement design strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Creative to drive creativity and innovation across all touchpoints and channels.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the brand's vision, values, and goals.
  • Oversee the development of design concepts, ensuring they meet the company's standards and expectations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business needs and objectives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in design leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving innovation and creativity.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A deep understanding of design principles, trends, and technologies.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
