Catering Food Preparer

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cook to join our busy catering unit on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and presentation with a high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food meal plating, tray set and packing of food carts
  • Ensure that presentation and weight specifications are adhered to
  • Follow menu specifications and comply with Food Safety guidelines
  • Ensure that cleaning schedules are followed and maintained to a high standard of hygiene
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure timelines are met

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience of working in a fast-paced food environment with excellent knife skills and fine motor skills. They will also have knowledge of HACCP / QSAI / Food Safety and OHS. Prior experience with airline catering and service oriented is highly regarded.

The position requires the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. A National Police Check requirement (clear) for work in the Aviation Services industry applies.
