Packing Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our team as a Packing Assistant.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the retail team has immediate support on product availability, accurate updates on product status, and maintaining an operationally efficient stockroom at all times.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Pack and log merchandise as required for customer deliveries
  • Organise and support periodic returns and inter-store transfers
  • Receive and dispatch deliveries (Heavy lifting may be required up to 25kg)
  • Ensure inventory records for all merchandise are accurately recorded
  • Maintain and organise the stockroom in an efficient and tidy manner
  • Assist with stocktake
  • General cleaning and tidying up

Requirements:

Previous retail/stock experience is essential, along with excellent attention to detail, high organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
