Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our centre.

  • Plan and carry out cleaning, maintenance, and regular inspections of the facility, buildings, and grounds as per the maintenance schedule.

  • Supervise projects and external contractors to guarantee safe and efficient operation of the facility.

  • Perform property, plant, and equipment maintenance, grounds-keeping, and general repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects and coordinate with contractors and tradespersons.

  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders including staff, contractors, and visitors.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk management policies, and relevant statutory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment and report any changes or issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an aquatic facility overseeing capital works, pool water quality, and property, plant, and equipment maintenance or similar.

  • Ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, and work independently and as part of a team.

  • Relevant qualifications and certifications such as a Working with Children card, General Induction Training Card, Queensland Class 'C' QLD Drivers Licence, and other industry-specific certifications.
