In this role, you will leverage your extensive relationships in regional Queensland with customers who have headquarters in Brisbane.

Our Regional and Agribusiness banking team (RAB) is committed to supporting the financial well-being of businesses and communities across Australia.


We pride ourselves on putting customers at the heart of everything we do and supporting the success of regional communities.


You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of grain, cattle, dairy, and cotton producers, with typical credit facilities ranging from $10M-$50M.


Clients are generally large, multi-generational family-owned businesses operating anywhere in Queensland, which you will be responsible for.


While based in Brisbane, some days you may work from the office, a client site, or remotely. We encourage flexibility to meet client needs and goals inside and outside of work.


The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working closely with clients to build strong relationships, gain an in-depth understanding of their individual needs, retain current business, and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborating with product specialists to deliver a broad range of financial solutions.
  • Driving strategy and deal execution, structuring, and negotiation of financial solutions while owning proactive risk management responsibilities.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A strong commercial acumen with experience in managing and growing significant complex portfolios.
  • Extensive Agribusiness experience in various sectors with sound regional professional networks.
  • Ability to relocate to Brisbane or easily commute to the location.
  • Passion for building customer-centric solid relationships.
  • Qualifications in commerce, finance, or a related field are advantageous but not essential.
