About the Role

We are seeking skilled Personal Care Assistants to join our team as Domestic Cleaners. The ideal candidate will be friendly, positive, and client-focused, with a natural ability to build relationships and provide exceptional customer service. This role involves assisting clients with domestic cleaning tasks, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, and responding to emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with domestic cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting various surfaces within clients' homes.
  • Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and other areas as required.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance or supply needs to the supervisor.
  • Foster open communication with clients and their families, providing excellent customer service and addressing specific cleaning preferences or concerns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  • A compassionate and respectful attitude towards clients, including individuals with disabilities and seniors.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions in English.
Essential Criteria
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
  • Blue Card / Yellow Card.
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence.
  • Own Vehicle and Comprehensive car insurance.
Estimated Salary

$25-$30 per hour (dependent on location and experience).
