Activities Coordinator Role

As an Activities Officer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of residents by facilitating their engagement in leisure and lifestyle activities.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality services that cater to individual needs and preferences. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with the Activities Coordinator and other team members.
Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and assessing therapeutic plans, as well as supporting residents in their pursuit of leisure and lifestyle choices.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience in aged care or a related field, with a focus on supporting residents with lifestyle and leisure programs.
- Ability to work weekends and maintain flexibility to promote a healthy work-life balance.
- Minimum Cert 3 in Aged Care and preference for Cert 4 in Health and Leisure.
- Valid Police Check and NDIS Worker Check within specified timeframes.
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements.
