Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our innovative Omnitech function, working on brand new projects that elevate our customer-facing platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work in greenfield projects with a special focus on AI and customer data.
As a Data Engineer, you will design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems. You will develop and implement data pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and implement complex, scalable, and robust architecture to support real-time data streaming using Spark.
You will work closely with data science and engineering teams to provide direct and indirect data-related support. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring systems meet business requirements and industry practices, integrating up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures, and developing set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
About You and Your SkillsWe are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. You should have strong experience with Azure cloud services, Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, PySpark, Snowflake, and Databricks. Experience with Spark implementation and real-time data streaming in Spark is also essential.
Familiarity with Azure Functions in Python, proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and data visualization tools is a plus.
