About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Works Supervisor to join our team at Synergy People. As a Works Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our building maintenance and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, tenants, suppliers, and internal staff to ensure seamless project execution
  • Coordinate trade teams to deliver high-quality services to clients, adhering to OH&S regulations and project timelines
  • Ensure regular audits of trade teams to identify areas for improvement and provide necessary training
  • Manage works completion to client specifications within budget and timeframes, including communication of work updates and variations
  • Maintain and submit all necessary paperwork, such as SWMS, timesheets, invoices, and receipts, to the administration team
  • Plan and coordinate trade teams to ensure efficient work flow and smooth project delivery
  • Supervise trades on-site where necessary and collaborate with suppliers to source materials for job sites
  • Follow up on outstanding work orders with clients to ensure timely resolution

Essential Criteria:

  • Carpentry trade certificate and/or relevant industry experience
  • Site supervisor, foreman, or leading hand experience preferred
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage teams effectively
  • Proficiency in computer software, smartphones, and tablets
  • Well-presented and able to represent the company in client meetings
  • Flexibility to travel for regional projects and ability to obtain an Asbestos Removal Supervisory Certificate
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia and a current driver's license
