About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practice Liaison Specialist to join our team at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advocating for the needs of GP supervisors and informing policy, systems, and process development to enhance the practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for the individual and collective needs of GP supervisors participating in the RACGP training programs.
- Support supervisors within the training program, providing guidance and direction as an experienced peer.
- Liaise with and maintain ongoing relationships with the supervisor industry body, General Practice Supervisors Australia.
- Work with management to inform quality improvements relevant to the practice environment.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with excellent communication skills, a good knowledge of the training practice environment, and the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program. You will have strong communication and advocacy skills, current accreditation as a GP Supervisor, and qualifications as a registered general practitioner.
