Animation Supervisor: Delivering High-Quality VFX Animation Work

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Animation Supervisor to join our team in London. As an Animation Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our position as a leading player in live-action VFX animation work.
You will be responsible for managing and supervising our animation team, from juniors to leads, ensuring the highest quality work is delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with directors and VFX Supervisors to develop character and creature performance and ensure continuity throughout the show.
As an Animation Supervisor, you will also be responsible for collaborating with other departments, including Build and Rigging, to ensure that models meet the animator's needs for control, functionality, usability, and performance.
Requirements- A thorough knowledge of relevant technologies in the field of CG animation
- Over 10 years of experience working on high-profile live-action and full-CG feature films
- Prior experience leading teams and delegating tasks when needed
- Experience working directly with clients and directors, comfortable submitting your thoughts
- Ability to perform visual and analytical problem-solving in 3-dimensional space, accurately interpreting 3D layouts and analyzing 3D form
