Job Summary

We are seeking Employment Professionals to join our team and support individuals with mental health conditions into sustainable employment.

About The Role

As an Employment Professional, you will work closely with participants to understand their goals and aspirations, and provide tailored support to empower them to achieve meaningful employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver services using evidence-based approaches to employment for people with mental illness.
  • Support participants through every step of their journey: vocational profiling, job search, resume and interview preparation, placement, post-placement support and ongoing support.
  • Monitor outcomes, keep accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with NDIS and community providers, ensuring wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a relevant Certificate III or higher qualification (Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field).

You will also need experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with participants, their supports and employers.
