Senior Biosecurity Weeds Officer

Key Responsibilities

Leadership Role: Coordinate the Biosecurity Weeds Team, manage the funding program, and conduct inspections across private, Council-owned, and public lands.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with landowners and stakeholders to identify, control, and prevent weed incursions while responding to community concerns and supporting environmental objectives.

  1. Annual salary between $88,192 – $99,255 dependent on skills and experience (plus 12% superannuation)
  2. Work a 9-day fortnight, based on a 35-hour working week
